A Few Photos

Just so there is no confusion, it’s Jess.  Jonathan has passed along some photos and asked me to post them since their internet apparently isn’t high speed.  As far as I can tell from the e-mails everything seems to be going well, except for the sleeping.  Between dealing with their own jet lag, and the jet lag of two children under the age of two, I think that Joe, Karyn and Jonathan may soon begin to resemble the walking dead.  He can correct me in a later post if I’m wrong!

Anyway, they are staying busy with activities at various places including the Drop-In Center.  The photos are from the other day when Jonathan spent most of the day at the Drop-In Center compound with a few of the kids and the cook, Abezu.  Enjoy!

  1. Hi Jess.

Thanks for posting the pics. Chris should be getting to the guest house any time now. He is hoping to get to spend the day at the drop-in-center and hopefully will get to see Edalawit. Maybe Jon will post some pictures of them!!!!!

    Thanks again for the update.

    Susan

  2. Hi Jonathan,Man it sounds like you are all really busy. I guess we shouldn’t be suprised though. We knew that it was going to be that way. We really hope the kids will adjust quickly. They really looked beautiful in the pictures. Even though we love and miss you all greatly we are so thankful that you all are there to share Jesus with those dear children in Ethopia. We love you all dearly. Touch base again soon! Love Ya! Dad and Mom

  3. Glad you made it safely. Will continue in prayer that everything goes smoothly. I think of our trip there often
and am hoping to come back in God’s timing.
Keep us up to date on the farm project and what is going on in Addis Ababa Bless you!!! Tom Siler

  4. It is so good to see some pics of you guys! My eyes are all watery thinking of all the kingdom work you all are doing. Every day I hope you are able to imagine God’s face looking down on you all as a proud Papa! Jack and Mclaine look perfectly comfortable there. They are so precious! I have showed Ethan and Kayla the pictures, and they are of the idea that it would be really cool to go and be there with you guys! I guess this is a long comment for pictures , huh. I just wanted to let you all know that I love you guys and we are praying for you. And keep up the good “God” work.
